What Can Lymphatic Drainage Help?
Lymphatic drainage is a great detox method to treat conditions like lymphedema and migraines, as well as prevent fluid buildup, and boost your body’s immunity.
Whether you are coming in for a lymphatic drainage facial massage (this can help improve the overall look and feel of your skin, eliminate toxins in your face, help manage the side effects of allergies and sinus issues, or help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes), coming in for a full body traditional Vodder Method session to help manage lymphedema, or coming in for a Brazilian lymphatic session to get rid of that bloat from the crazy weekend you just had - my goal is always to have you leave feeling better than when you came in!
What is the purpose? Lymphatic drainage relieves swelling that occurs when an illness or medical treatment slows down or clogs your lymphatic system. It involves gently manipulating the superficial layers of skin and tissue to move excess fluid buildup away from your area of buildup and towards working lymph vessels and lymph nodes so they can get rid of excess fluid in your body. Please keep in mind that lymphatic drainage sessions are not going to treat things like a stiff neck or tension in your upper back. For those services you need to get a traditional massage.

What if I don't have swelling? Will I still benefit from it? Yes. There are other benefits from getting lymphatic drainage besides reduction of swelling. Here are a few of them: lymphatic drainage aids in detoxification and enhances immune function by removing toxins from your body; the improvement of circulation from lymphatic drainage helps stimulate blood flow and tissue regeneration; the light touch with this method helps to reduce stress levels and promotes a deep sense of relaxation; it can help reduce pain and discomfort for people with chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia; people who suffer with certain types of headaches, particularly migraines, can benefit from getting regular lymphatic drainage sessions of the face and head because it has the ability to reduce the severity and frequency of headaches.
